-History of The Ice Tunnels-
The beginning of The Ice Tunnels has become a blurred and added to tale from many re tellings, however it is left to the listener what is truth and fiction.
Sabres didn't always exist in the snow blanketed ice fields, but the straying of a single sabre changed the north's future forever. Born to Black Bear parents was a child of white, not a true albino for absent were the pink eyes and sensitivity to the sun that would render a creature weak in battle and day to day life.
Even though he was loved dearly by his mother, leaving as a yearling to tredge out his own path. Along his way he took a trusted friend in a Sabre named Verikook, the two males begna wandering the lands as companions and in there exploration find the northren lands of ice and snow, and goign deep the more hospitbal places of the tunnels. The white bear found himself at home among the glacials and Verikook soon agreed, together rising from meer loners to Cheif and High Adviser of a great sabre clan. Their legacy has been passed through the generations, white bears becoming highly revered among the clan and those bearing the first's, Verikook's, mark.
For what lies in the future none can say. Let us tie our knots into the strings of fate, tangle and twist them to own liking. We whom scrape out a harsh living among the ice tunnels, we who survive in terrible dark months when the sun has gone, we who have the honor to call our selves Verikook.
